Let’s start off the 1st day of fall on the Hoh River and the Olympic National Forest. This is somewhat of a continuation of the Olympic Loop trip that has been enjoyed for the past four years. The difference this year is we will be camping on the Hoh River Friday and Saturday nights. This will let us play around on local forest service roads, visit the beach, check out Forks and just generally have a relaxing Saturday. You can even just spend the day at camp if you like. Sunday we will continue the route North towards Lake Crescent until it is time to head home or find a campsite for the night.
There will be two options for Friday:
First – 9:00 am Meeting in Gig Harbor and drive along Hoods Canal and up the Skokomish River taking the 23 and 22 roads across to Lake Quinault where we rejoin the pavement and drive 101 to the Hoh River.
Second – You will be provided the coordinates for the campsite and may join us at your leisure anytime Friday or Saturday AM.
Visit the thread: “Hoh River Purlieu 2017” if you have questions or for further details as they come available.
