Hi all, I’ve been watching this site for a few years but I have been getting more into overland activities and am finally introducing myself to the community. I have a 2011 JK Rubicon 2 door and have been making enhancements to it over the last three years. I finally was able to attend the NWOR last year and had a blast meeting great people from this group and learning new skills! I also plan to attend this years NWOR and look forward to meeting more of you.January 7, 2018 at 9:30 am #199756
Welcome! Where are you located?January 7, 2018 at 10:54 am #199757
Hi Aaron, thanks for the welcome.
I’m in Bellevue – life long resident (since before “Tech” was a thing).
Speaking of tech, since you are one of the moderators, can you share how to post pictures? I could not find any instructions on the site.
Thanks!January 7, 2018 at 6:56 pm #199762
Hmm we used to have a walk through on that but I’m not sure what happened to it.
Are you using a desktop or mobile device?January 8, 2018 at 11:10 am #199776
Thanks for looking into this – I’m on my laptop computer.January 8, 2018 at 11:44 am #199781
If you click on the “Add Media” button,
it will pop up with this dialog box where you can drag and drop images
Then click “Insert Into Post”
There have been some isolated instances where certain people don’t have the Add Media button. Not sure if that got sorted out or not. In that case, it’s probably best to host them with a 3rd party until we get the new site up and running.January 9, 2018 at 11:41 am #199790
I appear to be one of those that did not get the Add Media button. I will investigate the third party hosting option but don’t anticipate much success there. I look forward to the new site having this function. Thanks again for taking the time to help!January 9, 2018 at 1:45 pm #199810

Welcome – and I just use Imgur. It’s an easy-to-use third party free, photo hosting site. Works well.
Long live the two-doors! 🙂

Thanks Guy! I downloaded Imgur and giving it a try now. I really enjoy reading about your adventure with Stubs and I agree that a 2 door is definitely capable as an Overlander.
I think it worked! Thanks.January 10, 2018 at 8:49 pm #199830

That’s Barkley. He’s 9 but thinks and acts like he is still 3.
He really likes riding in the Jeep and chasing tennis balls.
