Just a short post to introduce ourselves. Mark and Vicki here, recently retired and moved to Eburg. We have been vehicle based camping most all our lives,we just never thought of calling it “overlanding” back in the day! lol. We do our exploring as we call it in our 92 Jeep XJ. I’ll post pics when I get a chance. We love heading out and when we find a sweet spot we may just stop and camp a day or two. Might even just be an over nighter.  We mostly use very basic camp setups. cots bags etc. We have a nice 8×14 ft pine view tent we use when people are around, but mostly its just under the stars. Some of our fun interests are camping, river rafting in out 14 ft cateraft, fly fishing, wood working, exploring ghost towns etc. We are 62 and 56, old in body still kids at heart! Hope to see many at the june rally in Plain and maybe even on the trail. We have been on many runs with PNW adventures as well as leading and planning many. Howdy Jon, Phil and Ricky! ltnc.

Is there a “group” in central WA? Always looking for local like minded people to do trips with.

Hello & welcome! Yes, we have a pretty active NWOL group in Wenatchee, and you’re welcome to join our activities!

Check the “events” page of this forum, we usually have something going every month. Also have a rough plan for the year, for activities as well.

    Regards, Guy
