Another option is Trail Creek Hot Springs on the way to Warm Lake. I’ve never been, but the Statesman had it in an article yesterday.

I like the idea of the hot springs but most of those are drive to and park or snowmobile in. Lets decide for sure at the next meeting. I’ll post it on the calendar and add a thread.

I know we talked about doing Harris Creek rd from Horseshoe to Idaho City but after talking with everyone at the meeting, it looks like this may be a maintained road giving very little challenge.

Sean was awesome enough to put together an alternative route, with the same ending point but a more challenging way of getting there. Take a look, see what you guys think.

That looks like a ton of fun… how tight are the roads/trails?  What time frame leaving/meeting and exiting trail?  Challenges included hahah 🙂

Mark, the route is all on FS roads. None of it should be to tight for any of us. Conditions are hard to say. After today’s snow fall it should be plenty challenging.

Let’s all meet at the BSU stadium parking lot on the corner of Broadway and University 9am.

Hey, I’m going to have to bow out on this one.  I will be installing a new steering rack in my 100 and with my 80 down, I am out of a vehicle until after the first week of the new year.  Rack is on order now and installation should be completed by the end of next week.  Sorry to have to bail.

Nope.  You’re still going.   You can drive part of the way with me.  Show up.

How late is too late to commit to this? Any specific equipment required?
