    Hi, all.

I know several trips have been made using dirt roads or forest service routes to get around the Olympic Peninsula. Would anyone happen to have a map file or graphic overlay of this route they would care to share? I’m exploring options for a trip right now and would like to do a little map reconnaissance. Thanks, in advance.

    Best regards – Josh

One thing to keep in mind is that some of the dirt tracks are now closed (after Oct 1st) for the winter season for the fauna. I don’t immediately recall where I found the maps that showed the exact roads, (it was on one of the Nat Park websites), but it was a good number that were closed off.

It is well worth what you are getting for a few dollars.

The other map to look for or that can be printed out online is the forest service Vehicle Use Map which will cover much but not all of the roads available.
