Oldest son Josh has a very cool 1998 Cherokee two door. Nicely set up with air activated Ox lockers front and rear, a supple 5″ suspension, 33″ mud tires, and armor all around. Since the photo he’s added an 8,000 lb Warn winch and rock sliders. It’s quite the machine!

JK/JKU doesn’t need a lot of help to be an outstanding off-pavement vehicle!

Didn't feel nearly as bad as it looked. I didn't get lined up for it very well and stood on the brake as it dropped in. I know one of the guys got a vid going in and coming out. I'm way more lucky than skilled Lol!

One more kind of funny one. Goofing around in Mickey's Hot Tub. I was really glad we stayed close to the trails. Pulled my spare and carrier off, and really glad I did. Tow points drug on a few of the drops and rises. I don't know why it's taken me so long to go through the pics and videos, not technically "overlanding" but I will put up a post in the trip thread shortly.

What's up Dan! I was there May 9th through the 15th. Literally right after they opened stuff up. Trails were great. Hardly saw anyone except our little group. We got caught in a thunderstorm on the top of cliffhanger, so getting back down was "interesting", but that was it for rain. Temps were in the 80s and touched 90.

I think I commented on your FB post from the windfarm that I passed you going the opposite direction on 90. Funny couple of screen shots below. The first is airing back up at the lot coming from Metal Masher. Second one is 23 hours later on top of Snoqualmie.

Those photos brought back a lot of great memories. I used to mountain bike in Moab. I'm down for a Jeep trip for sure. I think I need a few more enhancements before I'm ready. Next summer probably.

Hey Aaron. One of the days we had a stock JLU follow us around for a bit on fins and things. So many good trails to hit, and with just 2 doors, you would do great!
