Hi all, Saturday I am going to check FS-75 to Lonesome lake and NF-410 to the Mount Rainer view point, head back by dropping down to on FS-75 to west fork road to get back to 410. I have not scouted this route, Trails Off Road rates FS-75 as 1, easy and NF-410 as 2-3, easy. Let me know if your interested in joining, weather permitting it has a great view of Rainier. Lets meet at 11 AM, there is a turn off just before the the bridge on Crystal River Ranch Road E (47.11794, -121.61042).

Very cool! Looks like a great trip!

I had a blast. I’m usually on my own and wouldn’t try those few technical spots alone. Thank you for planning this and I’m looking forward to more.
Great run today!
We’re on our way. This is us
Please post pictures afterward! I'm helping a buddy with a new lift kit, otherwise I would have jumped in to shake down some of my recent upgrades.
The timing looks right to have a late lunch at Lonesome lake, it looks like there will be about 4 trucks.
Okay. I’m in for Saturday. I may bring a friend in his Tacoma (my old truck). I’ll at least have the dog and what I need to camp out if that happens. If nobody else is interested in camping I’ll just head home. I’ve got the coordinates to meet at 11.
its about 24 miles and 2:40 each way, so 48 miles and 5:20 total. Given the trail ratings listed that truck should be fine, assuming it is 4WD. There is a review with a Raptor that mentions a few pinstripes.
What is the duration and distance estimate?
Also, is it doable in a 3/4 ton long bed truck?
I had planned on a fly fishing trip that day. Our local fly club is heading to Merrill Lake that day. It’s a bit much of a drive to Rainer for just the day, but the dog might like it more. Put me down as a maybe.
If I brought the dog I could always camp out Saturday night. Would anyone have a camping suggestion or want to join?
I think my wife and I would be interested. Where is the rendezvous?
Awesome! Thanks, Paul! I'll feed this out to the group!
