I wanted to say hello. My name is Sean, and I recently got into over landing because of our toddler. No longer are my wife and I able to explore the outdoors as we did in the past. I am new to the group and look forward to meeting everyone.

Very cool! We had the new Defender on our Moab trip earlier this month. It was imporessive.

Thanks, Dan, glad to be part of the community. I am located in Kirkland. An old neighbor of mine told me to check out the group. I drive a Defender 2.0 that I ordered directly from the factory. It's the 4 cylinder, 18' rims, and added the rear locker. I figured the engine had been around for almost 4 years; most of the quirks have been addressed. The transmission being a ZF has been outstanding. If I ignore the manual and change the oil every 5k and transmission fluid every 50k, it will last a long time. I also eliminated almost all the electrical bugs by going pretty basic inside. Just about to hit 4k, and no issues so far. The final piece is I am turning 45 this year and no longer the crazy driver I used to be. Between dirtbikes, go-karts, and many cars, I am surprised that I am still alive.
Welcome aboard, Sean! Where are you located and what type of overland vehicle do you drive?
