I'm Darin, and I'm new here, just joined a couple days ago. I'm still poking around, getting to know things.
I'm a Machinist by day, farmer by night. Former military and been a General Class amateur radio operator for a number of years now.
I live on the dry side of the Cascades here in Wasington. Spent a lot of time growing up in the hills, doing overlanding stuff before we even knew to call it overlanding, haha.
Anyway, I recently purchases a '17 Toyota Tacoma to add to the 4x4 fleet, the other being a '95 Jeep Wrangler. But the Tacoma will be my main interest for now.
Glad to be here, and I'm all ears and eyes to learn from the collective wisdom I've seen so far.
Howdy Darin. I just retired from being a machinest/ millright for over 42 years! We retired in Jan and moved from Sedro Woolley back over to the Eburg area. Just finished a small retirment cabin a couple weeks ago. Where on the "dry" side do you live? Hope to see you Thursday at the rally!
Welcome to the group.
Welcome aboard!
