I've been trying to find information and education about overlanding in the PNW. I don't yet have a dedicated off road capable vehicle but I'm excited to learn about this community and figure out how I can take my kids on trips that will help them to get excited about being in nature. Looking forward to getting to know some new folks through this site.

Welcome! Keep an eye on our upcoming events. In addition to the trips, there are numerous "meet and greet" events which are fun, and a nice way to meet folks.
I'm out in Wenatchee, WA, and try to organize "family friendly" and "stock vehicle friendly" trips. On our trip last weekend we had three kids, and three dogs. It was an awful lot of fun because of the kids.
Last weekend though would not have been kind to most stock vehicles.
If nothing else, plan on coming to the big http://www.nwoverlandrally.com/ June 28 - July 1st, in Plain, WA. It's fun, and any vehicle is fine. You'll get to meet all sorts of terrific people, and see a lot of different overlanding rigs.
