We've been away from the off road scene for a while, and are starting to get back into it. We had a daughter and became home bodies for a few years; now that she's four, she travels pretty well. It's not that you can't travel with young kids, but even moderately rough roads will toss her around like she's in a washing machine. I guess I'm no longer concerned that her brain will become a scrambled egg.
Anyways, I went through a streak of five Land Rovers before waking up one day and realizing that I spent more time working on them than driving them. My very first car was an 89" Wrangler, so I'm back on that train. We kicked things off with a 2008 JK, then a 2018 JLR, and now a 2020 JT Rubicon:

My wife and I have traveled all over the west in the "overland" style, and now we are looking forward to discovering it all over again with our daughter.
I've rejoined NW Overland seeking other families to play around with in the mountains. It will probably be day trips for a bit until we get our camping situation dialed. I'm looking forward to meeting some of the new members and reconnecting with the old-timers!
Welcome back! How are you liking the JT?
Hi Luke!
Are you still in Colorado or have you guys relocated back here?
Dan
