I’m the lucky owner of a 2nd gen Tacoma, however I‘m waiting until the factory tires need to be replaced, to get 5 matching wheels and tires, and a 3” lift to help with the long wheel base of a double cab long bed.
In the meantime I camp off fire roads that don’t absolutely require 4wd , because the factory spare. I’m looking to take off road safety courses , and acquire the necessary equipment piece by piece.
In New York, the outskirts and suburb areas are Westchester, Long Island, north NJ, Orange county (upstate NY), Putman county (upstate NY), Fairfield County (CT). I would like to go in my car and camp in these areas. As you can see the outskirt area looks so quiet and peaceful in the picture. But i also have to see that in case if my car gets malfunctioned then i also have to be ready to call car towing service to get out from this lonely situations
