04 Aug 2020 Update
Let this be a cautionary tale my friends. In the end I ended up paying $1200 to a salvage company to come get it. That price is actually very good considering the other bids I received, which were closer to $95/ft + tow charge!
If you find yourself with an RV sell it as soon as you think it'll be awhile before you use it again!! They just don't store well and become major projects.
Hi Folks!
I inherited a 1988 24' Tioga Fleetwood RV when my Dad passed. It's been a couple years and it's just accruing storage fee's for me at this point. It ran when we took it down to the storage lot but it will not start, mechanic friend troubleshot it to the fuel system. He poured in some raw gas in the airbox and it fired right up.
I have the title, it is 2WD, it has some fiberglass separation along the sides and the front seam has come undone, it was broken into so they fubar'd the side door which locks but does not close all the way.
It has all appliances, genset though roof AC is non-functioning, backup camera system.
I'm just looking to get out from under the storage fee, which is $95/mo in Puyallup area. If you want the RV I'll just give it to you and sign title over, you'll just either have to tow it out or take over storage space.
Thanks for looking,
Jay.
