HD steel bed rack from RCI for a pickup truck. This is the 12" tall version, 51" or so in length. The width is adjustable to accommodate most beds. RCI sells this for 5-6' beds for $950 (plus lead times, tax, and shipping).

Taken off my short bed crew cab Nissan Frontier. It's an early heavy duty RCI rack and has carried a roof top tent, road shower, and various other things for years. Included with the rack are an axe/shovel holder and bike mount. It shows the years of work, but is solid as hell. It still has dust from Moab and back on it.

This carried an ARB Simpson RTT at about cab height when closed.

If you have a truck and want a roof top tent to do an overland, you could use this. It is incredibly well built, can be completely disassembled, and is a well thought out product. My needs have changed so I would be happy to see it off to a new home.
