Changes to trip plan:
I've trimmed the trip From 3-days to 2-days (Saturday-Sunday)
I had a trip planned for Sept. 10th through the 11th, starting at Greenwater Hwy 410 and coming out on I-90 near Thorp. The route will start near Kaner flat campground going over Manastash Ridge, Shoestring trail and Tripod flats. Some of these trails are considered difficult and in several places very tight between the trees. I have a 2014 Tacoma Off-Road with sliders that have push me off a tree or two.
Most of the folks that planned to go have backed out for various reasons, I would still like to do the trip and thought I could open this up to others in this group. One of my first overland adventures, several years ago, was with folks from this group and I really enjoyed that trip.
So if you are interested in this trip let me know.
Our official rally point will now be at the Little Naches Campground (10:00 am) at the intersection of 410 and NF-19. doing this will bypass the Naches pass trail and get us quickly to NF-1903 (just past Kaner flat campground) and on up to Manastash Ridge. There is good camp sites either side of the ridge.
Sunday morning we continue North through some fun trails and should be on I-90 late Sunday afternoon.
Rob,
This is great! Can I post this up as an event on our calendar? I think you will get a great response!
