Tod Cole:
For those wanting to clean the dust off from the trail runs bring your kayaks and stand up paddle boards. We will plan on a trip to the lake Friday and Saturday to get wet and cool off.
Ray Hyland:
Nice Tod, I already have one couple who wrote in to say they are keen to bring their kayaks. Now that SUPs are also welcome, I think we will get a fair bit of interest.
** Looking for someone to assist with leading the time on the water as I may not be able to make it? **
Friday and/or Saturday 1200-1500 at Glacier View Campground on the upper end of Lake Wenatchee. The weather looks to be about perfect and though the water temperatures can be a bit cool the views and wildlife hold tremendous potential. If you can help out one or both days let us know and I am sure Ray will extend the offer to cover the entry fee.
Any form of human powered watercraft: canoe, kayak, stand up paddle board, etc. is welcome.
I'll likely be bringing our canoe and possibly the kayak in the event my wife decides to stay in camp.
The last few years the air temps have been hot/warm so the water feels nice. 2-3 years ago it was over 100.
Freezing cold water, yea?
I'll be bringing my boat as well. Hopefully the wind wont be as bad as last year.
