I met up with Tom from NWOL at the Thorp fruit stand Friday May 18th evening and we headed out to the green dot trail system near Manastash Ridge. We settled into a nice spot on a hilltop and camped. Next day, we cruised a nice big loop on the trails and then headed East to Ellensburg and picked up the WABDR. Stopped at the ridge for some photos and then headed toward Highway 410 where we parted company. I pressed on to Nile and camped on the North East side of Bethel Ridge at a great 'dispersed' camp site stocked with firewood. I was able to make some APRS text message contacts with my kids at home, which was fun. The next morning, me and the dog (Kai) headed up the trail over Bethel Ridge, which is super sloppy with some soft and very brief patches of snow and loads of mud. Very tight trail in some sections, but thankfully it had been cleared by the guys that ran it the day before. Fresh sawdust everywhere. I finished my ride in Packwood and headed home. Thanks for meeting up, Tom.

I had a great time exploring and looking to meeting up again Scott. Here is a link to the sections we drove together https://caltopo.com/m/2FKV
Great write up. Absolutely love that area.
That looks like an awesome time. Thanks for the post, it's given me some ideas on where to get out there once I manage to get some free weekend time!
