My hubby and I did an overnighter outside of Greenwater, out Rd 70. We have recently started exploring the area. The spot we ended up at, east of Huckleberry Mountain, was absolute gorgeous. Almost a complete 360 view.
Update: we are heading to Lake Wenatchee this weekend, instead.
We are going to try to get one last weekend in before the snow falls. The first weekend of Nov. Meet at Wapiti Woolies after work Friday (2-3pm) and head up Hickleberry Mountain. Message me if you want to tag along. Of the people we know that may be with us, we all have street vehicles. We’ll be sticking to old logging roads and forest service roads.
One of us is, but this was left there.
Very cool! That area is great in the winter too (though 70 turns into a sno-park). I'm guessing one of you must be in the construction or building materials industry? I also burn lumber on trips :D
