Argh! I have mods/projects all in line to get ready for spring and summer...
So little real estate on my little trailer, I need to mount holders for my CO2 tank, extinguisher, Hi-lyft, Rotopax gas and water, fold down Front Runner table/shelf... Still need to find a source for a fox-wing awning... On the Nissan Frontier, I need to mount the bed rack and cargo basket, figure out a slide or something for my not powered cooler. Also need to create and purchase parts for a solar system to plug in for the trailer... I have lots to do, but with the number of hours I have been pulling at work, the weekends and other down time just get used as recovery time... I think I need a group build kind of gathering (intervention)!!!
Eventually, I will need some suggestions for lift parts, a fox wing, and other bits. Most of what I need to do for my current list is already in the garage ready to install. It's not so much that I don't know how. I'm pretty good at that stuff. It's more about working so many hours at my job that I just can't seem to get motivated on a weekend.
On top of the projects for the trailer and the Frontier, I also have a massive amount of work to do just getting my garage re-organized since my son left it in a real mess when he lived here trying to get his Jeep running (Still in the driveway dead)
Guess I am just feeling kinda overwhelmed... It's hard to start anything when everything seems like a huge task after a 60 hour work week.... After my son moved to Tennessee, I went out to start cleaning and organizing... Three hours later, it looked worse than when I started. three hours after that I could actually walk from the inside door to the roll up door... Thought briefly about dragging it all out into the street and having a bonfire...
Current to do list...
Biggest task;
Clean and organize the garage to create a people den space. (complete with furniture and a small TV)
Trailer;
install CO2 tank mount
install extinguisher mount
install Hy-lift jack
install 2x Rotopax cans
install Frontrunner fold down shelf
Frontier;
install rack slide rails on inner bed rails
install risers and crossbars for rack on slide rails
assemble and install cargo rack on crossbars
Future projects
Lift the Frontier 3"
bigger tires for Frontier
fox wing and mounting system for the trailer
powered cooler/fridge
solar to support fridge
slide out system for the fridge
win lotto to pay for 24/7-365 adventuring
fabricate spare tire mount for the cargo basket
I'll be editing this post as I complete any of the tasks...
I think I also left some other stuff out...
If it's fronty help you want, I might be able to lend a hand. At least with steering you in the direction of good outfitters and companies that actually do things for our trucks. I'm getting ready to pick up my Titan swap setup and get that installed in the dreary cold of February, but after that I'll have some time.
